Moda Black is a brand new London based record label, catering for underground electronic music. A&R´d by Jaymo & Andy George, the label will deliver monthly releases by a host of new artists, as well as guest appearances from names you´ll already know. 

The first release comes in the shape of the highly anticipated ´Hurt You EP´ from Hot Since 82. This Leeds based house don exploded onto the scene when his debut single ´Let It Ride´ gained heavy rotation from the likes of Jamie Jones, DJ T and Daniel Bortz. Since then he´s expertly carved his unique sound fusing infectious basslines with emotive melodies - perfectly represented on this killer double A-side. 

This release will be followed by a brand new J&AG EP and a very special Moda Black compilation CD, showcasing the sound of the label with 15 exclusive jams crafted by Moda Black artists and extended family.  

As well as running Moda Black, Jaymo & Andy George continue to push new music through their Moda parties (inc Fabric, London), via regular shows on BBC Radio 1 and DJ sets all over the world (inc their residency at We Love… Space, Ibiza). 

Jaymo: "The more diverse our artist roster became the more we began to feel like we needed a second label. Moda Black is essentially for the darker house and electronic stuff we play in clubs, whilst the regular Moda label will continue to be a home the disco and indie records we´ve done previously. We´ve been holding onto a lot of new artists and material for a while now, we´re just excited to finally hit the button"
