Diynamic superhero H.O.S.H, the German tech-house don with a fine line in quirky grooves bestows his next instalment on the home label. Featuring the vocal talents of the delectable Malonda, ‘Life Is Music Is Life EP’ is a blast of cheeky pop-house fun to brighten a rainy day and cause a riot on the dancefloor.
After the debut album ‘Connecting The Dots’ dropped at the end of 2010 and several remixes in 2011, Holger Behn aka H.O.S.H. finally returns to the fold of Diynamic Music with some fresh productions and a statement: "Life is Music is Life". Showing another side to his categorically open-minded musical style, H.O.S.H. presents us with three astonishing original takes on vocal house music, all featuring the soulful tones of Malonda.
The opener ‘What Do You Want Me To Say?’ is a club diamond with an emotive vocal at its heart. Supported by sexy percussions, an impulsive cowbell and a deep, pumping bass, this infectious track will set up shop in your mind and is in no doubt aimed squarely at the dancefloor.
Next up, ‘Hidden Pleasures’ is all about the bassline. A seriously straight-up groove combined with repetitive vocals, hypnotic synth-sounds, and strings builds up tension as the atmosphere burns with cheeky sex appeal.
The finisher ‘High!’ is a slow-burning groover with a gripping bassline, drifting melodies and a vocal singing a short story about those special moments on the floor that we all know so well. Ultimately, H.O.S.H. has managed to re-invent himself as a master of vocal house that the crowd can get behind.
