Audiofly’s quality imprint Supernature keeps standards sky high with this next release, a three track treasure trove of round warm beats, soothing synths and housey grooves at the hands of Diynamic boss Solomun.
Title track ‘Something We All Adore’ lures you in with an effortlessly infectious groove, while a muffled and carefree vocal propels this track into a fresh and exciting territory. The rolling groove combined with the docile vocal engulfs your senses and is sure to circulate your mind for days.
Next up ‘He Is Watching Me’ is a heart felt slice of emotive electronica. Soaring synths are woven dramatically across the pulsating underlying groove, while an array of strings build back into full momentum with warm electronic keys thrusting over the echoing tin percussion. Electronic harp strings blissfully provide the melody towards the end leaving us with a reflective yet uplifting tone.
Lastly ‘Girl Slow Down’ displays a range influences from bass and hip hop to house through a journey of slow grooves. Mellow beats, strong claps and melodic keys languidly roll forward while soothing synths rise through the shoulder shifting beats escalating into a full affair while keeping the tempo down low.
Supernature as an imprint has a solid focus on quality and selective underground music and Solomun has been a firm favourite in the camp since his remix of Bearweasel’s ‘Monkier’ was released on the label back in 2008. Solomun has been redefining European house music in recent years with his productions, remixes, DJing and through his widely respected record label Diynamic so it is with great pleasure that Supernature present his debut full EP for the label. ‘Something We All Adore EP’ defines Solomun’s sound and passion for providing the roots of house music with a fresh and modern twist.
