Once a distant message written in the stars, the wisdom of Soul Clap has been beamed down to Earth in the form of EFUNK - Everybody´s Freaky Under Natures Kingdom - their debut album on Wolf + Lamb. Now the label presents EFUNK: The Remixes.
Before today there was yesterday and after tomorrow is the future, but what happened in-between? The dark age of lost-cool, a time of dimensional imbalance when music was devoured by a black-hole of wackness. Now, marked by a solar-flare in the funky constellations, Soul Clap delivers a galactic renaissance to fill our ears with interplanetary consciousness and emancipate our booties from the androids of dancefloor repetition. The days of EFUNK are upon us, restoring dopeness in the universe, as we groove on and move on together in intergalactic harmony!

The Remixes is all about family. Nitetime is our grumpy uncle from Boston, the king of digging, DJ Kon and his partner the Whiskey Baron. They give us an epic late 90´s skipped out garage version of ´Need Your Lovin´. One of our jams for WMC we´re pretty sure is headed to a summer anthem.
Up next, we keep it in New England. You already know our brother Tanner has been holding down the Bean while we´ve been gone, but perhaps you didn´t realize Slow Hands is from Vermont. Their remix of ´Islands Part 2´ is on some serious smooth you out and lift you up. Slow Hands has been opening his live sets with this beauty for weeks now.
Rounding out the dinner table, our cousins from Minneapolis, No Regular Play. They´ve known each other since they were babies. That´s like 10 years longer then we´ve known each other. Their remix of ´TroubleTroubleTrouble´ is a ceritfied bomb that chugs along and hits the bong.
